This anniversary weekend has been incredible thus far! I love being so close to the City and finding little spots that are just amazing. So very grateful.

Grateful that I found the perfect charger to fit my laptop..   Also that I got to sleep in until almost noon today. Haven't done it in forever and man oh man, it felt nice! Feels 'naked' to have no kids in the house, but we deserve this little break.

DH is making me my birthday breakfast, woo!

Had an awesome time yesterday, and am looking forward to DH being home tomorrow, going to the concert I want for my birthday present, and his weeks paid vacay coming up soon. Eeek

I love that Sophia is making new friends! So happy we signed her up for ballet.

Hopefully in about a week I will be posting in here about how great it is that I got my period.  

Really pleased with how back to school night went. I am proud of myself for facing my public speaking fears, and for breaking the stereotype of being a young Latina mom in our neighborhood. I'm so happy to be a part of Sophia's class and the PTA. Sometimes I can't believe how far my life has come, I feel truly blessed.


I am so thankful that Sophia just loves everything about school and learning. Excited for her to have ballet, and even more excited to tell her that we are signing her up for an after school club.

I'm just happy, and it feels so nice.
