Got everything finished on time for school, took the kids to the library for story time, and then to the grocery store. While I was out doing that, I got a call saying I landed another interview. All I need to do is snag one of those jobs and I will be set.

I will be done with my training next week wooo! I very literally completed training in half the time scheduled. I'm so proud of myself.

Thank you!
I was hired as a welfare case worker. Normally the training is 3 months long. I was given permission to work at my own pace ahead of my training group (they hire people 10 at a time so it's set up like a "class" with "graduation" and everything). This is the first time they've ever allowed anyone to work at their own pace, I am the only one allowed to do it. At the beginning of the class we were given an estimated training calander that shows when our projected "graduation date" is and outlines what material we should learn each day. I've been doing full days in about an hour. If I had been allowed to do it on my own from the beginning I'd already be done.

I love that you enjoy bringing me home yummy surprises... But it's not helping my goal for this summer body I'm supposed to have
Gigi went to be at 7PM last night after bath and story time. I love how she just loves books and sits throughout the whole thing.. Over and over again
I rocked her to sleep for the second day in a row.. Loved it.
She slept from 7PM to 630am.. Took a bottle then went back to bed until 10! I'm one happy mama this morning

So cute. I love rocking Bri to sleep. Doesn't happen very often anymore though since she's a maniac

Haha same with G! But lately she's let me! Well two days in a row I just love it! Other times she just needs to self soothe in her crib and freaks if I try and rock her! Lol!

That's what Bri does

I love that where I live always has something fun going on. Street fairs, block parties, carnivals, parades, it's so great and so family friendly. I love being able to walk legit 5 minutes, and bam, I am at the carnival! Not to mention the carnival was RIGHT in front of Sophia's new school, so it should be approx 5 minute walk every morning to school!
I love seeing people at the carnival that live on my block, people that I will probably see as we all walk together to get our kids to school since we live so darn close. I love the little old Italian couples on our block, that always talk to the girls and have conversations. Who says New Yorkers can't be friendly?!
I feel blessed to live where I live. I know I often throw hissy fits over it's prices, but all in all, it's well worth it. It has more than everything we need.
I know Summer just started, but I am just so stoked for Fall. So many good things to come, it's such a good feeling.
