Mary Kay

Is anyone a beauty consultant for them? I just signed up and wondering about other people's experience's. I work a full time job and am starting a part time job next week working ten hours a week. I plan to sell Mary Kay on the side for extra money and the discount on the facial care products I use. Any and all experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've actually become friends with my mary kay consultant. She had me over the other day and we talked about the company for a little. She's been doing it for two years and is now training to become a director. She's always 9 people away from getting her first car. She was actually trying to recruit me to become a consultant on her team but I know I just don't have the time right now. She said its very flexible though, you can work as little or as much as you want. The money isn't fabulous at first, for example she said if you sell mostly eye colors you only make 3 dollars a piece, if you sell a facial set you make 30. It sounds like something I would love to do but its not realistic for me right now. Since you have the hubby to help with the kiddos I think you'll be able to handle it! Goodluck

it's going to be my third job and my director is ok but I hate hers!!! Soon they are changing the meetings around to make it better. I have great ideas though. And i'm having a big event in the best buy for a women and technology party. I'll have like 9 people. I wish I had learned a little bit more about it before I signed up but ultimately I still would have eventually and I really do like their skin care!
