Dip a q-tip in vaseline, and gently insert it into his rectum and gently swab around a bit in there to stimulate him to move his bowels.

That's happened to Marlee tons of times. Call the doctor first. Most likely they'll recommend using Karo Syrup.

massage his belly, bike legs, stick a thermometer up his doody booty? that usually worked with my LO. oh and also make sure you massage the lower part of his belly. If you feel any little hard areas in there, then that's where he's having trouble. but mostly do it at the lower belly. massage around his booty hole as well (we used to call it the magic button lol) poor thing I feel so bad for him. my LO used to only poop like once a week and now she still only poops like 1 time a day

Go to a different doctor. Is his belly distended? Is he eating ok?

So, he did have a BM then? It's a good sign if his belly isn't hard. But if his belly is hard and if he spits up green (bile), please get to the ER then. Hopefully it should all be fine though.

completely off topic ... but Marlee was one of my girl-names i was considering before we found out that carmen was little boy #2. love it.

topic: try the vaseline qtip, some light karo syrup in a little bit of water in his bottle, or switching to a forumla that specifies that it's for babies with angry tummies.

Kayro syrup is what I was told by both pediatricians for both my boys. It worked, they were both formula fed.
