Missing the bump

Hey, girlies~~
lol this might be a weird question:
I have a friend that said she nicknamed her growing belly and for about 8 months (since she didn't know the sex of her baby til she was born), she called her tummy Ralfy (because she was sick the entire pregnancy). After her daughter Maryn was born, she realized that "Ralfy" was no more and she was no longer pregnant. I was just wondering, does everyone go through missing their bump after the baby's born? Does knowing the sex of the baby before he/she is born help with that... just making it more real that he/she was in there and you don't have to miss the bump?
Any thoughts?
Cassie & her bump ^_^

I'm thinking I'm probably going to miss my bump with the kicks and stuff too. My pregnancy has been great... no morning sickness! lol that's funny, I've nicknamed my belly "Bump" too ... well, I guess the credit goes to my hubby 'cause he keeps calling him/her Bump. I kind of wanted to pick a nickname for my belly that would work after the baby's born, but there isn't really much out there... I guess "Bump" will have to work. lol

I TOTALLY miss my belly!!! I think I miss feeling the baby inside and just sharing that experience just between the 2 of us....plus I think being prego is the most beautiful thing! We knew at 19 weeks that sex of the baby, but I knew from the beggining he was gonna be a boy.....I didnt name my belly or anything...lol I did make a belly cast though...so weird to look at it now...and see how HUGE it was!!!
