poop

soo my son is 4 weeks today!! and he hasnt pooped in 2 days i breastfeed.. is this normal?? i see him struggling like he wants to poop but he cant what should i do??

My son has a normal poop schedule of 5 days or so, up to a week, and is completely normal for him, and has been since he was born. He's 3 months old now.

i bottle feed but my daughter done this and i had brought it up to the doctor and he told me it was ok

I should add, I know when it's going to be a poop day, because he wakes up grumpy and strains all day before it finally comes out.

Im pretty sure when you Bottle Feed, it's normal to miss a day or two, but when you breast feed they should be poopin every day, couple times.

yes totally!! BF babys don't make as much waste... it all gets used up...

I think thats what hes going tru.. i hope he poops tonight..

yes no worries... I've BF 3 kids and it's always the same... your baby will poop soon and will be the same yellow seedy pooh as before... your just making really good milk mama!!!

try not to worry so mush his body is just making use of all that good natural milk...

don't worry about that ether... it's all supply and demand... as he need more he will nurse more and that will bring in more milk...just make sure your nursing every time he wants it even if you feel like you’ve been doing it all day…good luck mama...

when i was bf my baby she would poop atleast 5 times a day, if not more. when is started formula she actually would poop only every other day. i would your babys doctor

I have bf 5 children, 4 of them were once a week (more like once every 10 days, and one went 21 days!) poopers, one was a several times a day pooper (later found out he had food allergies)...The pedi has always said it is completely normal, as long as the consistency is like creamy peanutbutter or looser. She said my milk is just super digestable.
