My daughter stood very well but then again my friend has a baby 6 days younger and he doesn't stand very well either so it's just every baby is different. The only way I got her to stand longer is to let her... she always would be kicking at me on my lap like she wanted to stand so I just let her and she was happy lol. i think tummy time is more important at this stage as they develop the strength to crawl. and yeah babies sleep can be disturbed for many reasons maybe a growth spurt, maybe she's teething but i'm not sure what to tell you cause i'm mainly a co-sleeper lol

I had a colicky baby who continued to be a lousy sleeper until 7 months. After reading a LOT of books about babies and sleep, i found the most help in a book called Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Dr. Marc Weissbluth.
I didnt read the part on younger babies but i do remember that he said at 4 months their sleep patterns change significantly. They switch from newborn sleep cycles to adult sleep cycles and napping changes. You may want to read the book for some help and advice on what to do. The book is great and there are lots of enthusiastic moms here on BG who read that book.
