Anya is back in the hospital :(

I just wanted to let everyone know that Anya is back in the hospital with a bad bladder infection, they are worried that it could go to her kidneys, so they just want to monitor her. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Hopefully only a couple days, I just came back to get some clothes for myself, Daddy is at the hospital with her.

It was so heartbreaking watching them try to start an IV on her, and they still didn't get one in, they said they might have to put it in her head, I told hubby not to let them do that unless absolutely positively necessary.

I'm so sorry! But she's a fighter and she's going to be just fine! She has her mommy and daddy to be strong for too. She's a really strong baby and nothing will get her down. Don't worry mama! I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers. I'm here if you ever need to talk to anyone.

IF she is drinking than dont let them do the IV...I went through the same crap with my daughter at 7 wks old (but she wasnt a premie). She had a bladder/kidney infection and they could not get the IV in her and I finally said no. She was drinking so as long as she is drinkin there is no need for the IV.

They do the IV for antiobotics mainly...So yeah she needs it to get better!!! They had to for my daughter when she has a uti and she was 1 1/2 they dont give babies that small antiobotics oraly...

They did 1 shot in my daughters leg every 24 hrs for the anitbiotics. That was WAY better than stabbing her 7 times to fail at getting an IV in.
