ugh iud troubles

my iud fell out!!! i can't even believe it. i got up to go to work today, and after my colposcopy last week they put this stuff in there to help you stop bleeding, and it comes out eventually. it kind of looks like coffee in a coffe filter after you made a pot. well anyway, the last could days it has been slowly coming out, and i tug on it, and it kind of pinched, so i figured i wasnt healed enough yet, so i would just leave it alone so i wouldnt cause any probs. but today it was coming out when i woke up, so i tugged again, it it budged and slowly i pulled it out, and right there on the end of it is my iud. the strings got smushed in that stuff and it got hard and trapped the strings. lame. i have been waiting for the stupid dr. to call me back since 8am. its 1pm now.
