Live in OR work in WA help
posted 11th Aug
I've started watching kids for a woman who lives in WA. Her child care is state paid so my work address is WA even though I watch them in my home in OR. How will I be taxed as an OR resident working in WA? Because it's child care, I'll have to pay taxes at the end of the year and I'm just wondering how much that'll hurt. Thanks!

i work in wa and live in oregon.. its taxed the same as if you were working in oregon.. they take oregon taxes from your check.. assuming they take the taxes for you and you dont have to claim them yourself.
im not sure how state pay works.. but i assume if they take taxes out of it before giving it to you, then they will take or taxes from it.
