Which one would you rather have for a baby shower gift?

I like the basket because I can put different things that would be needed in there. BUT I could also customize the diaper cake by adding things to it...

I got a diaper cake at mine. The woman who made it put all sorts of other things in it! I loved it. I voted gift basket, though. Always ALWAYS love those.   Good luck!

I got gift baskets at my shower too but lol for some reason I am fascinated with diaper cakes now.

I guess it depends on what you are putting in the basket and what you plan on putting on the diaper cake. Right off I would prefer the diaper cake though because...well DIAPER cake!! hehe!!  

For a close friend of mine, I bought her the diaper bag off of her registry and stock it full of everything that you need in one   She LOVED it!! She only had to add in her things and of course, more diapers and wipes as needed   I also made a diaper cake! She really loved that too   She took off the useable items, but left the diaper cake out in the nursery as a decoration until her daughter grew into that size. I should mention that I bought size 2s.

I like all of those ideas. LOL I made up my mind though. Since there are 2 pregnancies i'm doing one of each.
