Vitamins

Quick semi-dumb question. Am I allowed to give my 16 month old vitamins? I keep reading that it's fine/DON'T do it. He's going through a really picky stage and has been for like 2months. I'm still pushing good food on him, but I'd feel a lot better if he could get some vitamins in him too.

depends.. I have a 1 month old that is taking poly-vi-sol multivitamin... Vandy gave it to her while she was in the NICU

You can buy Poly-vi-sol... you just have to make sure your daughter reaches the age/weight requirements but poly-vi-sol is a liquid, and starts from an early age so you can give it to her.

It's so little as to your doctor...

I have been putting the Poly-vi-sol vitamins in myson's last sippy of the day since he started whole milk to make sure he was still getting the amount of iron he needed and other vitamins he may not be getting enough of...he is 16 months now and I started the Poly-vi-sol at 11 months..and I will continue them until he is 2 and can go to the flinstones or other type kid vitamins for that age.
