Being the only one with kids sucks!

I think I need new friends. I love my friends and they are supportive, but they don't really understand what its like to have a baby! It's not like we are young. I am 24 but none of my friends have children and their idea of fun is still going to the bar and such. They think I am boring now that I don't think that drinking is the best past-time ever invented. Really, I don't drink at all.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?? You love your friends but they really don't get what its like??

Yeah, that's why I was always super nice to my one friend with a kid. I had this feeling that one day I would be able to sympathize and lo and behold, the day has come.

Yep!! So you know what I did? I posted an ad on craigslist (seriously) and I met one of the nicest girls ever!!

And there were about 50 ads of the same thing so it's more coomon than you even think!

i feel you. & they dont understand that I cant find a sitter for 2 kids on 15 minutes notice to go shopping, to a movie, or just hang out or do lunch. Its just not that easy.

Definitely feel ya on that one! (except the age part ..like a 5 year difference) but all my friends think that partying is the only way to have fun. I used to hang out with my friends all the time, now it's like, maybe once a month with less than 5 different friends..

Yep! I've been a boring old lady since I was 19, lol....

yep.... but think of it this way...when we are in our late 30's we will be able to do things they won't b/c they will wait so long to have lo's .....our kids will be able to stay with family and pretty much take care of themselves..while we take a nice vacation..while our friends that are partying it up have lo's to chase and run after

Aww I'm sorry   Thankfully, most of my friends either have a kid or are currently pregnant.. so we kinda get each other.
