I'm not a prostitute!!!

Ok so I was cleaning up today and found a notebook that I forgot I even had. Anyways~ this book is the one where I document every bit of communication I had with my sons father and I can't believe some of the things I have forgotten over the years. I tried to be cordial and allow him to see my son, some of the things make me wonder why I ever stayed or tried to be nice.

In my sons 6 weeks of life he saw him maybe, maybe 24 hours (this is an overestimate because some days I didn't write exact times in). He no showed two times in a row for a visit, wouldn't answer repeated phone calls and didn't call when he said he would. This is minor to some of the other things and this is just what he did to me after my son was born.

The day after I had my son I was informed my child had to have his last name because he was a boy, a girl's last name would not matter. At about 10 pm that night he called me at the hospital and threatened to take my son and kill me if I didn't give my child his last name. I took my son to see his parents twice (he was suppose to be there), he then missed two visits I had set up. Next he came to visit and just layed on my couch and had nothing to do with my son. When he went to leave he told me I had to give him a hug and a kiss or he wasn't going to see my son again. The next time I talked to him it was a visit. He told me at this time that if I did not tell him I loved him he was going to take me to court and take my son from me.

After that I spoke to him on the phone and I told him my 2 week son rolled over 3 times. This must be a direct quote, "do you think he's stupid?", I said no, he's my son and I know he's not. He proceeded totell me that I was a stupid person and that he (the sperm donor) was smart and that is why my son was smart. Me being stupid I talked to him again after that on the phone. I told him that I would take my son to visit him at his parents if it wasn't too cold and wasn't snowing. He informed me that if I didn't bring my son that he would call the police on me. I took my son the next day and was informed that he was taking me to court and I would be recieving papers soon. I told him I didn't have a problem with him seeing my son if he talked to me civily.

The next time I took my son to see him at one of friends house. There he slipped a $100 bill in my pocket and said that was for my son. He then proceeded to try to kiss me I refused too so he took the money back out of my pocket. He said that if I didn't do what he wanted then I didn't deserve any money/child support. The next visit was ended up in an argument over child support. The last time I spoke to him he just showed up at my house. He came in and told me that if I didn't do as he wanted me to do that he would take my son and never leave me see him. He also got up in my mother's face and was screaming at her at the top of his lungs while my infant son was laying on her chest (his nose was basically touching her nose).

The final communication with his family occurred the next day in a phone converstation with his dad. I was informed by his dad that I had illegally given my son my last name and they were going to take me to court and take my son from me if I didn't change it to there last name. I was also informed that I had to make their son happy and do whatever it took to keep him happy.

It all just reminds me of how much he doesn't care about my son, that it's just control over me. Wow does this bring back some terrible memories. Oh and he never signed the bc, he isn't listed on it and he never showed up for any of the child support hearings or to the dna testing.

ETA: My son is now 4 and a half years old and there has been no communication except for the times he has followed me and tried to break into my house. I also spoke to a lawyer about the last name before I did anything they were just trying to threaten me into doing as they wanted.

Well, that's pretty retarded.
But, your son can legally have your last name, just in case you didn't know. They're full of crap.

WTH?? Thats crazy. Sorry you have to go through that. My sister gave my nephew her last name, and they have been to court for a bunch of child support and visitation stuff, and they never mentioned it. You wont get in trouble for that. Hope it all works out.

Oh I know. I spoke to a lawyer before I did anything. My son is 4 and a half now and there has been no communication (willingly on my part) since he was 6 weeks old.

When I say willingly I mean that he has stalked me and has tried to break into my house a couple of times. Other than those times there has been no communication.
