WoW = Rant

My boyfriend just spent the last 7-8 hours playing WoW.

I came home early from work because I wasn't feeling well and he continued to play that stupid game.

So I read a book, tried to watch tv, eventually gave up and went to bed.

We have a deal that he can play during the week while I'm at work, but during the weekends he doesn't play it at all.
I'm beginning to think that deal = shit.

Play with him? I like WoW...

But yeah, it's hard to drag someone away from.

If the deal is that he plays while you're at work then why didn't he stop when you came home??

Honestly, there's worse things he could be doing. I'd rather my man be at home playing the game, then out doing who knows what.

Thankfully...mine gave up awhile back, and only plays on occasion now. We both used to play like crazy.

ETA: It is a fun game though lol. Oh and yes, it's VERY addicting and hard to pull yourself away.

Ha, he keeps telling me to play with him but I have a toddler, the only reason I even got a good chunk of time to myself tonight was because she was sleeping and I wasn't at work.

I have no interest in a game that I won't be able to play longer then 10 minutes at a time...plus seeing how it completely sucks him in makes me want to run in the opposite direction

This was a really big downer in his last relationship of 4 years. It's like he's just resorting back to old habbits(thankfully not being a bar manwhore)

My ex was very obsessed. To the point that I said me or the game.

I have no idea, he works mornings and I work nights so we don't get to really spend time together during the week even though we pretty much live together...you think he'd be at least a little interested in seeing me come home early from work...sick or not.

That's why I don't want to play. I can risk getting caught up in something like that...I know too many people who play 8 + hours a day on the damn thing.

good luck! chris wouldn't even make an arrangement like that with me! so that's one up! i play too, but i can't get as absorbed in it as much as he does. youre gonna have to sit down and talk with him about it though.

lol my bf is playing it right now. If i ask him to get off, he will once he's finished with whatever he's in the middle of. We talk about it and come to an agreement that we stick with. ha thats sounds dumb

think of it this way. It's better for him to be inside playing video games than him outside with his buddies looking for trouble... My husband is the same way. and as long as he do spend time with you and help around the house or on anything you need I dont see the big issue. JMO tho

i''ve been dealing with the same issue for the last 7+ years though sweetie....and trust me....you need to talk to him.
