I've been dealing with braxton hicks since 27 weeks.
they gave me medicine to stop them because i couldnt sleep, and then they started back again a few days ago. Along with some back pain, So i went in thinking it might be real contractions. Well it wasent, sat there for 6 hours, Dr. never even came in, sent me home, Said that its normal and nothing they can do.
I average about 12-13 an hour, pretty intense, but not really painful. I went into my Dr. today and he said, only a few weeks to go for you, unless they are diolating me, nothing they can do. RIDICULOUS! 5 weeks of constant contracting is bulllll

Did your uterus harden with your contractions? I was getting cramps (? contractions? I don't know) with cervical pressure really consistently last night for about an hour, but my stomach didn't harden at all so I'm not sure if it would be considered BH.

Thats exactly how i feel, and my baby has dropped too. I have a constant pressue on my bone, feels like when i cough somethings literally going to fall out. And not to mention every time she moves I get a tingly sensation or something right down there lol, and with as many contractions as im having I feel like i could be diolating or something and not even know. Some womens water doesnt even break until theyre in full blown labor. Dr. checked me today and I wasent Diolated or thinned. So Alls well for now. I'm praying for 37 weeks and then for her to just be ready to come, because I cant do 5 more weeks or these contractions and back pain, its the worst! and yay for same due dates!

It really irritated me that they made me feel like an idiot for coming in. I mean geez we are told that if we have more than six in an hour to go to L&D or call your normal Dr. and of course we lay on our sides and drink plenty of water and do kick counts. But then when we go out there they like fuss at us. I don't care if it's your first pregnancy or 2017th you're not always going to know what's going on >.<

Yeah I wasn't even dilated or anything but still my BH were strong. I just hate having to go to L&D so much since I'm so unsure all the time. HOPEFULLY something will happen with the August mommies soon enough lol

I feel exactly the same, I feel like im a stick in their side or something, You know they act like its a bother hookin you up to the monitor for a few hours and checking you, when we have no idea whats going on. When i went to my birth class, my teacher told us that, it doesnt matter if you go in there 10 times and they send you home. you should always go in, because on that 11th time, you might be like "ugh well theyre just going to send me home this is the same thing" and come to find out you're in labor.

My L&D suck. I had some indian nurse who I couldnt really even understand. and she comes in and gives me 3 shots 20 minutes apart and says "you not drink enough water, thats why" I respsond, I go through a gallon a day, she says "well you're having sex" I say, i havent had sex in a month...she says " then why you having so many contractions
Im like..Really? you're asking me?

UGHHHHHH im ready for baby! in 2-3 weeks please!

I always get indian doctors and it sucks. No offence to the Indian race or anything but freaking A learn to speak English clearly enough so we understand. At 21wks I had to go out there for my gallbladder and the doctor told me my placenta was detaching from the wall and my baby was going to die!!! Come to find out I just had a placental lake forming (extra blood flow according to my OB ) and it's nothing to worry about.

I feel like a big nusince to them since I've been out there at least 10 times since 21wks but every time it's because my OB on call TELLS me to go out there and check. It really irks my nerves that my BH were actually showing up on the monitor and they wouldn't do a damn thing. They even asked me if I have had sex which can cause BH after I told them that my husband will be home from deployment in three days. Ugh.

Hopefully if I'm right my OB has my due date off even though I measure right. She's already a huge baby which makes me think she's older than they think. Plus I only had sex four times when my husband came in on R&R (TMI sorry) and I know damn well I didn't ovulate later on in that month. Who knows though. I just hope I have her soon because this is all very confusing..
