Quoting ArmyWife17:“ I'm very lucky I live on a military post that has no OB's. I am able to go to any doctor I want as long ... [snip!] ... So when I have had to go there I get in pretty quick. Sorry about your trouble.. the military can be a big pain sometimes ”
Quoting Lucky8789:“ I 2 have had issues with military medical. Because they wouldnt give me an ultrasound 2 c I was in fact pregnant, which I ended up miscarrying.”
Quoting MadamePrimm:“ Oh wow that is terrible. You should have been able to sue for negligence.”I cant because all my test b4 hand came back negative.
Quoting 1+1 on the way!:“ The Naval base in my city doesnt have a hospital so I get to see a civilian dr also. Did you go to your PCM and get a referral sent into tricare???”Well the way they do it here, you have to call the OB intake line at your clinic then wait for them to call you back. They FINALLY called yesterday, and they said I left the wrong number 4 times. I mean seriously? So they said I was "lucky" that they tried my husband's number since it was listed on my file.
Quoting MadamePrimm:“ Well the way they do it here, you have to call the OB intake line at your clinic then wait for them to ... [snip!] ... my first prenatal before my husband leaves so I can at least give him a copy of the first ultrasound picture to carry with him.”
