Site upgraded

A couple hours ago I updated the database and some code for BG. For the most part, the code was behind-the-scenes. However, I also had some time to throw in some minor changes:

1) pages should display much faster now, so it should feel "slicker" as a whole.
2) sometimes bad ads caused the whole page to screw up. Now, even if there is a screwy ad you should see the page as normal.
3) your parentank activity (on your "my profile" page) now displays avatars
4) pagination on long topics (above 5 pages) is different: click on the page number and enter your desired page or use the arrow keys to select a new page, then press return et voila!
5) fixed some glitches: e.g. safari & chrome users should now be able to upload new avatars (it showed blank before)

The rest of the updates are in preparation for more advanced features and also to allow the site to handle all the gazillions of posts each month...

So that's why the numbers at the bottom of the pages are different. I thought my computer was messing up. Thanks Nick!

BTW Nick. I'm sure you've been told, but the Special Needs forum isn't in the drop down menu. You can only access it when you first come to BG.

P.S. if a particular forum isn't listed in the drop down menu you can always find it by going to the forum homepage -- click on "forums" on the egg at the top left.
