Breech at 33 weeks

I was wondering how many of you have had your baby be in the breech postion in the 33rd or 34th week and had them turn on their own? I was watching Birth Day on TLC and they said only 4% of babys are breech in the 33rd week and that it usually results in a c-section!!! AAHHH! I do not want a c-section and I wasn't worried until they said that on this show!


ETA: I am almost 34 weeks and my baby is breech

That is scary. I want a VBAC, I am going to MAKE my doctor check with an ultrasound to make sure at each appointment that the baby isnt breech.

My last baby was breech at 35 weeks we went for an ultrasound a few days later and she was head down.

My last baby was breech (but first)) until about 37....but she turned. It's very possible your baby will turn.

Oh and you know what else.....they had me get on all fours and arch my back and relax as much as I felt like doing it. Said it would encourage her to move....and it did.  

My baby was transverse around 34 weeks and she then flipped to breech and on tuesday she was head down. Today she was transverse when i woke up and back to head down now. So personally I think you will be fine.

oh wow! ok, on this show they made it sound like if they were breech anywhere from 33 weeks on, you were screwed for a vaginal delivery, but I see that is far from true! thanks!
