He is not a man to walk away from his sick child, he should be there for you and the baby. Even if he didn't want a relationship with you anymore, he should be there for Lydia. I am so sorry hunny, you have done nothing wrong, continue to be strong you will all pull through this.

My daughters father had that and he fought it and is fine! He has been a survivor for like 5 years....dont give up hope. I know it will be harder on Lydia because she is so little...but with you and dad by her side she can do it. I am praying for her and you too...remember you are pregnant so you need to be as positive as possible...I will put yall on my churchs prayer list...

Sweetie. I am so sorry. I'm reading your post, and it's setting me back so much. I know it's not the same as a child or a baby havingthis cancer, but I am 9 months in remission from Hodgkin's, and my mother did the exact same thing. She blamed herself. This is in no way, shape, or form, YOUR fault. I absolutely promise you that. I can come so close to imagining what is going through your head right now, but you have got to keep strong for your baby girl. I have seen so many babies, toddlers, and children walk in and out of my Oncologist's and they have all made it through. Your daughter is so strong. I promise you that she will get through this. My heart broke when I just read that Lydia was diagnosed with cancer. I have a 21 month old who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at 22 days old. I know its hard, but stay strong for Lydia. No, it does not make your problems look small at all. I haven't been on here much, but I looked at your posts, my heart just broke. You have gone through so much already, and now this? I just don't understand. I ask God daily, why Jeremy? What did he do to deserve this?
Jeremy is doing good considering his situation. We were told on November 13, 2007 that he had 2-3 hours to live, and here he is! The tumor is still growing, but he is physically not declining. He is my little miracle! =)
I don't know of any groups on here or online. Jeremy has a MySpace, Facebook, & CaringBridge. They are HUGE supports for me. That has made my life 100x's easier. Nobody has to be a member to look at it. You can tell who reads it/signs the guestbook, put pictures and such. It's amazing! When my little cousin was 2, she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. I know it's not the same as Lydia, but I wanted to tell you that she will be 18 on August 25th and is doing absolutely wonderful. Keep the faith. Stay strong. Worry about your little girl right now--and the rest will all work out for you.

I will keep you all in my prayers--and please, consider a caring bridge site. I keep up with an online friends husband's cancer fight through there. I would love to keep up with Lydia--and with you as well, if you choose to do so. Lots of (((HUGS))).

I am so sorry...I will def keeo you both in my prayers....I have heard over and over that this type of cancer is VERY curable when detected in the early stages(which im assuming Lydia's is?)...She will be OK...just be strong for her...and you...and your twins....
