I wanted to name my daughter Madelyn, hubs veto'd it.

Honestly, I love both first names and I'm not thrilled about plain old anne.

There are A LOT of little girls named madelyn (or any variation thereof) right now, so I say scarlett

madelyn is really popular so i would say no to that one. I must say i loved reading gone with the wind, but scarlett just always had negative associations for me. I would say none of the above

thanks ladies for all your help! hubby and i really like Scarlett but i was thinking Madelyn too. We don't know the sex yet, we're hoping for a lil boy (we have a definate name already).

Anne comes from Kerry-Anne which is my MIL's name so that's the definate middle name

ooh but Madeliene is soooo classic french. Plus, Madeline is soo spunky and smart. If you have to share a name w/a chartoon character, I know worse

exactly! Elliot has a stuffed bear we got him when I was pregnant. He's dubbed him "Patrick" after Spounge bob's stupid pink starfish friend. LOL
