measuring...

Ok so thursday I went in and got my ultrasound to see if my baby boy is measuring like he should because I usually have high bp. She said that he weighed 3 lbs. and 5 oz. which, i was amzed how big he's gotten!! However, she said I was also measuring a week ahead (i'm 29 weeks, will be 30 on monday). I looked on the week by week thing and it says at 30 weeks the baby should weigh 3lbs and 12 0z. or more...so do you think he's measuring a little small?? Idk what to think since she said i'm measuring ahead? I also have another question...my first day of my last period was November 26th ( i remember perfectly b.c my bday is the 25th.lol) anyways dosn't your due date go by your first day of your last missed period? If that was so then my dd should be September 3rd. When I first found out I was pregnant though I went in and got an ultrasound but they couldn't see the baby just the sac...so this brought my due date at September 14th....sorry this is all over the place...i just need some answers!! thanks.

Your fine. My son at 27 weeks was already measuring a little over 4lbs

Measurments don't mean weight. They take a measurment of the baby's bone in the leg to determine that. We all weight different so that doesn't always determine gestational age. At 22 weeks my son weighed 1lb...

wow my baby was only a 1lb at like 31-32 weeks

Your EDD does originally go off of your LMP, however, not all women ovulate 14 days after their LMP, which can give a week or two difference in EDD's once you have your first U/S, which is when they measure the baby to find out how far along you are. GL!

Everyone is saying I look small too. The doctor says my baby is measuring were she needs to be. Your doctor knows what she or he is talking about. I would trust the doctor and not everyone elses opinions.

Yea i know, i was just wondering...I havn't seen the doctor after the ultrasound yet so he'll inform me about eveything then....Oh, lol no one is saying i look small everyone is telling me I look bigger than 7 months but i don't think so.. i've seen bigger!!
