nearing labor?

how did you feel in the days leading up to labor? did you have any signs labor was near or was it a complete surprise? at how many weeks did you give birth?

*i'm actually due july 5, my doctors said july 15th at first. but i've measured at july 5th for the whole pregnancy. i just never changed my due date.

For me, I had no signs. I didn't lose my mucus plug or any of that business. I started having painless contractions at 7pm on a sunday and i had him the next day at 7:59pm! I thought the contractions at first were braxton hicks (that's what they felt like) but they were like every 5-10min apart so i went to the hospital..

but some women have ALL the signs of labor so.. i guess it just depends! =) Good Luck!!!

ugh. this is so discouraging... i've had painful and painless contractions for 3 days straight.... no breaks longer than 30 minutes. i'm going to be sooo discouraged if i go into the doctor on wednesday and made NO progress...

Well don't let it get you down, I was dialated only a 1/2 cm when i went in.... they ended up inducing me though because overnight i had only progressed to 1cm... my body just didn't want to dialate on it's own! =) just be patient and try not to worry so much because it'll fly by! =)

this gives me hope that i could have my daughter soon! ive been having painless contractions i havent really been timing them cuz i didnt kno if i should but ill start timing them now! especially since im already dialated ~
