Tats while pregnant?

So I hear that that's bad to do...But if you know why please inform me.
Also if there's any mamas who did get a tat while being pregnant please let me know. I just wanna know why it's so bad to do. Thanks.

There is a risk of an infection when you get a tattoo while pregnant/breastfeeding.

infection. Think about it. you are poking tiny holes into your body and injecting ink into them... nope no danger there.

No respectable tattoo artist would do that. You can't even get piercings.

That's why we get profesions to come by the house. I got my lipped pierced like 3-4 months ago...

No tattoo artist (thats respectable) would do one or even a piercing. It is a risk of infection.

*I got my last tattoo when I was 2 or 3 weeks pregnat (before I found out) I feel like shit even though I didn't know!

an infection can spread to your baby and kill it. Are you seriously that dense?

seriously? The risk of infection for your growing fetus/baby is too great. Their bodies are less able to fight off infection... why risk that?

I had a friend who get a tattoo while pregnant, my friends andI all thought she was an idiot for it.

Why would they leave a sanitary environment such as their shop and do work in someone's house. That's illegal here. If you can walk from a room where food is prepared or stored such as a kitchen into any other room, it's not a proper studio.
