posted 4th Jul
so my son is 2 1/2 ..turning 3 in October...I dont know if hes going through a growth spurt or WHAT b. c he has been so hungry lately....liek the other day we wet somewhere and we ordered a slice of pizza, and this slice was huge mind you, and he ate it all and wanted Another PIECE   and I said no, b.c i mean even I was full after eating it...and he flipped....but i didnt give in

then the other night i made him spaghetti with sausage and a garlic roll..it was enough for him, trust me....so...when my boyfriend came hom like...2 or 3 hrs later, he had ordered pizza for us both..and when I told my son, no you arent getting anything , you had dinner, if you want you can have water or juice, thats it.he FLIPPED.

and throughoutthe day, he is always hungry every 2 hs, he wants a snack or lucnh or blah blah...im like wow...

i dunno what to do..should i give him the food if hes hungry or..is this a normal phase or what?

ummm thats awful. i can understand not feeding him all the shit you mentioned, but only water or juice? try a healthy snack maybe? not pizza and pasta and all those carbs. but thats mean IMO... if the kid's hungry, feed him. hes a growing kid.

well IMO i dont think its right to feed a kid a slice of pizza at 10pm at night  b.c at 9 or 10pm at night..he should be in bed anyways(i let him stay up late b.c my b/f was coming home late so it was only one time)so...i mean no 2 year old should be eating after 9pm..lol thats..ew..but...its not like i feed him pizza everyday..i just said i wouldnt give him the pizza at night..i always feed him dinner that is healthy.and theres nothing wrong with spaghetti...soo..ya...

You didn't mention what time it was. After 9pm I agree it is a bit late to be feeding him heavy foods, but a piece of fruit would have been fine IMO - if he was staying up anyway.

My daughter is the same way. If we are eating something she has to eat something. I normally give her fruit if she had dinner and we are eating something I don't think she should be having. (example; a few grapes, a quarter banana, peaches ect...)

I don't usually tell her she can only have water or juice, because well I don't give my daughter juice and the only thing she drinks besides milk is water. I will though give her healthy snacks in between her meals.
