how much longer?!

ok so this is my first pregnancy & i went to the dr on tuesday and she checked to see if i was dilated & i was 2 cm and 75% effaced. she told me i jus might have a 4th of july baby! well my stomach keeps tightening and im feeling a lot of pressure and ive dropped but still NOTHING. how much longer til my baby girls finally here! im due july 18th

There are people who dilate or efface & they stay that way for weeks. There's no telling when you'll have the baby. I'm 100% effaced & have been for weeks, not dilated at all.

I was 80% effaced and 3cm dilated for 2 weeks before my induction

Yeah, my doctor has told me a million times I'm not making it to my due date, I should expect her within the next 2 weeks, which was a week ago so within the next week, I guess. I'm not holding my breath.

I was 3cm and 80% for a month. I went into be induced 10 days late and my nurse said there is no way I should have been still pregnant. I had been walking around at nearly 5 cm and 90% for over a week.
