Don't quite think its safe.

Yesterday i went out and got my permit. Now i just need someone to teach me to drive. My dad said he'll teach me and i mentioned i'll need someone to watch kota while im learning.
He said we can just take kota with us. I'm fairly sure thats a reallly stupid idea. I don't want my son in the car while i'm learning to drive. After i've passed the driving test, sure. But not before i even know how to drive!
Hes insisting that i take dakota with. What kind of stupid idea is that?!

Eh id find a bavysitter just in case!

Eh, when I was leanring to drive, we just took it really easy on very quiet roads with hardly anyone on them, and we went slow. I didn't see it as dangerous. I would ride in the car with my older brothers while they were learning. It isnt like your first time out you go on the highway at 75 mph or anything. But, whatever you feel comfortable doing is fine.  

And I wanted to add, I think I was a safer driver when I was learning than later on, anyways. LOL. I was more anal in the beginning than after I learned.

When my best friend drove three hours to be here for my daughters birthday her then 5 month old had to be held the whole drive up, he does NOTHING but scream and I mean scream when he's in his carset. 

I'm in the same place as you with my dad offering to teach me, and I refuse to drive with her in the vehicle right now. So currently, I haven't driven a day in my life lol. I'm going to take driving school though, and you can't bring your children there!

I'm learning how to drive, and I have Kaiden with me. But I live next to a very small and quiet town, where the orads are never busy. I feel ok having him with me, I jsut make sure the straps on his car seat a snug before I take off. He falls asleep everytime I drive though, its so cute.

I drive in the evening, so its deffinately not busy around here at that time.

That sucks. I'm glad I live in a small town, which is next to an even smaller town, so I ahve plenty of places to go. I haven't gone over 30 MPH though.

Today was the first time i drove. my mom took me to the school down the street cause the parking lot was mostly empty.
