Transition to milk

posted 4th Jul
How exactly do I do that? She has been drinking from a sippy cup for almost two months now and she will be a year next month. So do I begin with like one cup of milk and gradually increase the milk cups or just stop the formula cold turkey?

I started mixing whole milk and formula and then slowly started putting less and less formula

What I understand to be correct is to switch to 50% milk, 50% formula after she turns 1. After a few days, maybe a week and decrease it to 25/75 (of until your formula is gone   ) then just go 100 % milk

Right now she is on Similac Sensitive because she has a problem digestion lactose, and I am going to bring this up when we go to the doctor for her year exam, but do you think she would have issues with regular milk?

hmm...I'm not sure. If she's lactose intolerant they may suggest giving her Lactaid milk

Well she said I could switch on her birthday which is next month. I just didn't know how to do it. Like cold turkey or what. She said we would talk about it more, but I am about to buy more formula and I am wondering how much should I buy. My usually four cans at one time or just buy one can at a time. The other ladies said to do half and half so I think I am going to buy what I usually buy.
