unconventional wedding rings.

i'm not exactly sure weather or not i want a classic looking ring or an unconventional one.
i've fallen in love w/ this one but i'm not sure if it's something that i could wear everyday. " />

so i was wondering, for those ladies who have unconventional rings, do you still love it as much as you once did or do you wish you would've gotten something more classic?

Are you meaning diamonds vs. other stones? Is that what you mean by classic v. unconventional?

I don't have any rings as I'm not married, but you can bet your ass I'd wear that ring every damn day of my life.

sure.. or maybe a ring w/o any stones. just anything other than the "classic" diamond ring.

I have a classic. So I really can't help.

But personally, my reason for not wanting unconventional is classic has such a strong symbolism, and I want it very obvious that my ring is an engagement ring. And that my wedding band is a wedding band.

since these days so many people forgo tradition and wear rings on any finger... I am proud to be married and wouldn't want there to be any doubt that the ring on my left ring finger is an engagement ring.

This is my first wedding ring, its a pink heart with stones around it.

But I'm probably just very shallow. Lol.

I'm not married, but I wouldn't want a classic ring. My boyfriend was engaged a few years back and bought the girl a $10,000 ring. It looked really nice and was giant, but I could never wear anything like that. If I were to get engaged and married, I would want a ring that's personalized, something that reflects who I am.

A friend of mine has a ring that looks just like that but the middle stone is a pale blue. She said she loved it at first but now wishes she just had a normal ring because people never think she's married.

I like the idea of a non conventional wedding ring. But to me the pic you put up looks to much like a cocktail ring. And not one to wear every day.

Mr ring is very clasic. A 1.5K diamond solitare on white gold.

that's not shallow. (what you said before. idk about the whole fake engagement ring. lol) i agree w/ what you said.
see, my sweetheart and i are kind of planning a really qiuck and cheap wedding. we're engaged but i don't have a ring yet. we're probably just going to say the whole "i do" part at the court house. so i was thinking i'll have my "engagement" ring be my first wedding ring and then later, when we can afford to have a big wedding, i'll have him buy a wedding band.

My wedding band is going to be a simple diamond band. I would be afraid to wear a ring that huge everyday.

I have a classic ring. the only other one I would consider would be a very dark sapphire
