What kind of help do you want to give him?Emotional support? Or financial help? If she wants to keep it,she needs(his gf needs) to stand up for her future child's well-being and insist he help her. If your brother is shirking that, you could maybe be the gf''s support by encouraging him(nicely, or if it gets ridiculous, realistically harshly ) to remember that this might be a big change for him, but it's an awesome oppurtunity as well.An oppurtunity to be a father, be a role-model,an oppurtunity to love someone more than himself and to be a key role-player in the growth and development of a human being, who will need him more than anything.


He might be scared and defensive ...maybe advise him to wait a few days before he decides he doesn't want to be there for his gf? Let him calm down a little and absorb the info? Idk...it must be a little scary for both of them right now.Good luck!

well I saw him last night and talked to him, but him and his girlfriend were being real assholes about the situation, mad and huffing about how they ruined their lives how they were complete fuck ups and I told them it could be worse and they said there is nothing worse than a baby. And my brother got pissed that I knew saying all of Cleveland is going to know now, it just pissed me off how stupid they are acting, still acting selfish intead of trying to take peoples advice and move on with this

kids dont ruin lives. They make it better. My SO was totally against having kids. He didn't want to be a dad at all. But when I got pregnant, he changed a little. He just wants our little girl, which is fine by me. I dont want to get pregnant again, too many bad experiences this time. I think our little family of 3 would be perfect though.

My brother thinks my baby is going to ruin my life. I felt so bad for thinking I was ruining my SOs plans. But we really didnt have much planned, just living and whatnot. Now I am going to go to school, and he enlisted in the Army. The baby has made us want to better our lives. I wish your brother and his girlfriend could see it like we did.
