Tour of L&D

Someone asked this question earlier and it didn't get an answer, so now I'm curious as well. When did you take your tour of L&D? I did an "unofficial" tour with my mom, who works at the women's and children's hospital, but I was wondering when to take the "real" tour.

I took a baby class at 34 weeks, which included a tour of the hospital.

I went at about 32 weeks.

i went at 32 weeks. but i found out it was not neccasary. if you've already gone you probably wont need to, unless its really complicated

i already took mine they signed me up at the hospital when i went in for my sugar testing around 23 weeks.

They're never necessary...

I just thought it would be good to know what the room has, where it's located, ect.

I'm going on a tour next time I have a baby because they redid the whole maternity section into something beautiful  

If I remember correctly it 28 weeks. I saw it in one of my pregnancy books but don't remember which one. I will try looking through all of them and find the correct time your suppose to tour l & d

I'm a procrastonator and just took it a few days ago. At 39 weeks. Haha...

We went at 36 weeks for the last pregnancy. I am waiting for the fall schedule to come out and then I will pick a date for this one, probably the beginning of December, so about 35-36 weeks.

Hospitals here don't do tours.. you have to buy a DVD tour

I would be down with the DVD tour if I got free health care, or whatever it's called. I will be paying for this pregnancy for the rest of my life.  

Well I had one when I was 15 in our Child Development class.
And our hospital only has 4 L&D rooms I think, so theres not much to see.
