Rain!!!!!! It isnt supposed to stop until 6 if it stops at all yay Happy 4th of july! Its Alex's first and its raining boo!

Ugh!! Just as the fireworks started, it rains!!! At least they still did them. Someone lent me an umbrella tho, so I didnt get totally soaked. Not sure who gave it to me tho. All I remember is one second I didnt have one, then suddenly I was holding one. I was pretty wasted last night. It was more the fact that the wine went STRAIGHT to my head!! I HATE that. I should have stuck with beer. I would have remained more coherent through the night.

Oh, BTW, we were right across the street from Tony's. Someone got taken out of there in an ambulance at like 7:30!! I think they partied too hard, lol.

We could see the fireworks from our balcony on the 3rd but since it started raining we couldnt really see them that well on the 4th so I turned on a fireworks show on the big screen plasma and we waited to light ours off til the 5th. It sucked we went to the carnival and right as we were leaving it started pouring all the way until right before we get to the car then it stopped and the sun came out. Then it rained again for the fireworks very lame.

Yeah, it was very lame. Its a shame too, because I doubt I will get to go up there next year. My mom wasnt too happy when she brought the kids home. Miles was crabby and she said she cant handle all 3 all night. It sucks big time.

We would, but we are not talking to hubby's mom. She wouldn't cooperate with our lawyer when her neighbor's dog bit my daughter's face (she was watching her for us and let her go over there with no adult supervision and she was 2 at the time). Then she got her usual high and mighty attitude and EXPECTED to get a completely free ride at hubby's work. He asked that she pay for drinks and a tip and she was all like "its MY birthday, Im not paying anything". So she ended up not even going to his restaurant because she would have to pay $20 tops at a high end restaurant to feed her and her 3 other kids. There is a LOT more to it, both those 2 events (which happened a month apart) were the straws that broke the camel's back, so to speak. Hubby was treated pretty bad growing up, and she always puts herself before anyone or anything. We dont really want her attitude influencing our kids.

I just need to get over my innate distrust of everyone and find a good babysitter for when we want to go out. Its just that I dont trust just anyone to take care of my kids.

Me either my kids have only been babysat by there grandparents.
