i havent had my baby yet but im about 5 1/2 months now and im going to be a single mom. Me and the BD split about two months back because i foundout he was cheating on me with his OTHER baby mama, since he already has a kid, the whole time we were together. i got rid of him and now doing it all on my own. you can do it girl. i promise. you dont need a guy to be a good mommy. just be strong enough for both you and your baby. good luck.

gosh this is a hard topic for me to read , i have been having troubles with my bd for a long time now , he is never here and when he is he tends to stress me out , i do love him dearly and we are going onto our 1 yr ano .. but im 6 months pregnant ..nd im feeling the stress big time .. i have bought every thing myself and his excuse is .. i dont know what you expect me to do .. his very controlling and i find it hard to leave him even tho id like to bcoz i have the same mentality .. that if he cant spend time with me during my pregnancy then whats going to change when our son comes along .. ?? but i heard a great saying the other day and im hopeing its true .. it goes - a mother is a mother the moment she finds out about her pregnancy , but a father is only a father once the baby is born .. i think its jt the relisation of things .. but yeah loving this topic guys

I pray to god that that saying is true also. I've always had my dad in my life and for my baby to grow up without his/her bio father will be so hurtful.

yeah its getting more and more common these days aye..my dad was around too .. but its not that i dont want my bd around.. its jst i would rather he not be around if he cant treat me with respect nd do ne fing right as a father you know .. nd so far he doesnt seem to be trying to do anything right by me or his son..

I thought the same thing about my BD. That he would change after his son was here. Unfortunately, it's almost still the same. He only comes over on weekends when he feels it's most convenient for him and leaves after only a couple hours to go hang out with his low life friends. However, I feel he does love his son and wants to do his best by being here for his son. It just gets hard for him because he thinks about me too much when he's around me and it gets him upset. I feel he misses me and wants to be a family, but it's going to take a lot of time before we even think about getting back together. Anyway.. I'm going on and on.
I really hope things work out in your favor and your BD comes around. If he doesn't right away after the baby is born, give it time. Things may change.

it seems like all of us are having bd problems. lets just say that woman are way more mature than guys could ever want to be.

That quote is so true b/c he doesnt feel a connection b/c the bby i snt here and hes only focused on his other child b/c shes here u know....everyone keeps sayin once the bby is born it will b different but idk if ill be able to accept him "changing his tune" then...
