Went to L&D earlier

So last night I was having what I thought was BH, I soon came to realize they werent cause I kept having these contractions all night along with bad cramps. I finally got an hour of sleep and woke up with stronger contractions that came from my back to my stomach and down my legs so I took a shower and headed to the hospital. When I got there they checked me and I was just barely a finger tip dialated and contractions were everywhere so they decided to keep me and moniter me. Well an hour later the doc came in and I had dialated to a loose 1 and was at a -4 station so they sent me home and told me to come back when my contractions are 2 to 3 minutes apart. I was so happy cause I was progressing just a week ago I was closed tight. So I came home and walked two miles, took a nap and now im sitting here anxious but pissed cause my BD isnt taking any of this seriously. Just had to vent about my day any of you mamas go through something like this and when did you end up having your lil one?

I am so ridiculously jealous of you! I'm due the week before you and I don't get excitement like that! Must've sucked to be sent home though. I've gotten a lot more BH lately (like if I'm up doing a lot of cleaning or swimming or take a long walk) and I've had like one contraction. We're getting closer though!

about a month before i was due i had horrible contractions and was getting super sick i couldnt even walk and non stop vomiting. i thought for sure i was gonna have her. well turned out i was over doing it from working so much and then to top it off i was dehydrated.  well when i really went  into labor my SO didnt believe me!!! he just sat there watching tv telling me i was crazy and we werent gonna drive all the way there (about 35-40min to my dr office, hes an awesome dr though!!!) and it not be it!! so i took my shower and got ready, for the last 45 min of it i sat squatting on the floor having contractions every 3 min!! well i said im going to the hospital by myself then. so he took me and kept saying i needed to rest and drink some fluids. well when we got there and he found out i was really in labor he couldnt stop apologizing. had Kaylee 2 hrs later.

Lol ya I just cant wait till hes out cause hes gettin so big! Im havin back spasms where my back will completely stiffen up and I cant move it. Plus ive measured three weeks bigger every appointment and lost my mucu plug a week and a half ago. But dont worry mamas your day will come sooner then u know I hope u have a fast abor not all drawn out like mines turning out to be!

Even drawn out would feel better than feeling like he's never coming out. Haha. Oh well. I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable.

thats pretty harsh of him, it could of been something else!I bet you were really scared, i no i would have been. Though when stuff like that happens you cant help but think HA at the end

Aw well congrats and sont you just love how guys always think were over reacting? Like they know all and dont feel bad my BD is out at 1:32am doin tattoos sayin oh babe youll be fine I wish I could just smack some sense into him!

I don't even have my hospital bag packed. =/ Are you packing comfy clothes for you to wear in the hospital or are you just gonna wear the gowns till you leave?

I packed a big shirt and some stretchy shorts cause its gonna be hot and I hate those gowns they never cover my butt lol
