To me it was a bitter sweet moment. It was like: Yay! A contraction! And it was like Oh shit, that's not comfy!

Haha.   Brandon got down super low last week and I swear it felt like he was knocking on my cervix.

lol i know wat you mean i was so excited to finally go into labor and then i was like WHOA crap how do you make this stop it hurts!!! lol. thats good though means hes gonna come soon!!!! such an exciting experience!!! my SO keeps saying he misses having a baby (LOL yes cause i clearly remember him being in labor and gaing all that weight lol) hes been trying to convince me that we should start trying for another cause he misses the experience lol.

Haha. I was barely 4 months preggo when DH started talking about having another one. I was like "uh...can I squeeze this one out first?" I'm so scared that I'm going to be a sniveling little wimp in labor. Haha. At least my friend who will be there won't make fun of me for being a pussy. (She's got a kiddo of her own and knows how it is.  )

yea my SO was the same way he wants 5 kids!!! i want just the 1 i have lol. yea i bitched about labor and my SO had a busy weekend at work before  i went into labor he had to work 2 double shifts 2 days in a row and then as so as he got to actually get some rest before going back to work the nxt day i was like ummmmm having  baby lol.... and of course he tried sleep in L&D but i wouldnt let  him lol. at least they had good meds for the pain so after that it was all good.  but there was no way i would let him rest when i was hurting lol haha

Sounds like the situation DH and I are facing this weekend. He's workign a 12 hour shift tonight (gets off at 4:30 a.m.) then goes back to work at 4 pm to work another 12 hour shift. Maybe I'll be like you and I'll pop on Tuesday (his next day off!) Haha. I don't care what he does while I'm in labor as long as it doesn't get in my way or piss me off.

yea my so was working 18 hr shifts 2 days in a row and all he wanted to do was sleep when we were at the hospital but it was driving me crazy!! i was sooo pissed about him falling asleep lol i was yelling at him to wake up lol even when they put me in the tub i was like u better not sleep lol. he was supposed to work another 18 hr shift the day i had kaylee but well there was no way i was letting him go to work. and of course the first 2 night s we had her we couldnt sleep. by the 3rd night we crashed. luckly my mom stayed over cause we were pretty much in commas lol. i probably shouldnt have been so har on him but if i had to squeeze a baby out he should have atleast stayed up lol

Haha. I think I've made DH miserable enough so far that he shouldn't have to suffer while I'm in labor.   We're still trying to suss out the strategy for getting to the hospital.I told him that my friend will pick me up and then she and I will come get him (he doesn't have a driver's license right now) and we'd all go to the hospital. He seems to think she should take me to L&D find out if I'm really in labor and then come get him. I told him there's no way in hell I'm being left in the hospital for any period of time by myself. When I told my friend about it, she told me there's no way she'd leave me by myself no matter what he says. So, I think he's going to have to buckle to my will on this one.
