re: Went to L&D earlier

I was thinking about that. I think I'm gonna pack a pair of sweatpants and a couple t-shirts. I'd rather not sit around in their gowns the whole time.

doesn't sound drawn out to me...sounds normal. most people can labor for hours and hours at home before they need to go n then they labor even more hours at the hospital. once i was in labor took me like 2 hours for every cm to dilate.

yea he felt stupid in the end i remember when i was pushing i was yelled "I told you I'm having a baby you idiot!!!" lol it was hilarious my mom was there and she was telling me to settle down haha. yea he always thinks im overreacting but im sure they'll never understand what its like going into labor. you have to send you BD that text that says i just had the baby at home lol that will freak him out probably knock some sense into him!!

Does a Contraction feel like movement up and down in your stomach... kinda like the babies moving.. but it's not the baby??

I dunno.   I'm use to having stomach pains from my crohn's diease so Idk when it's just that or a contraction.. lol

I'm gonna take extra clothes.. i HATE gowns.

Should I pack onesies for Xoe to wear while in the hospital.. or should she just wear the hospital gowns too? Ughhhh, I'm always late doing stuff.

Ya thats true its just all my friends who had their babies all lose their mucus plug and wham bam boom they have a baby like 4 hours later. So I was hoping id get that lucky lol

Haha. DH was telling me that my friend should come pick him up after the hospital confirms that I'm in labor. I was like "Look, if my contractions are one minute long, five minutes apart for an hour, that ain't false anything." He acts like I've been crying wolf the whole time and I haven't said a word about contractions except for the one thing that I was POSSITIVE was one. And then I didn't make a big deal out of it because another one didn't follow it.

lol trust me after that baby comes you wont care if that gown covers your butt lol.

Nah I doubt it mines just dumb and believes the world revolves around him lol Hed propbably say no way my baby didnt come out yet cause I didnt say he could

The one thing that I'm sure was a contraction felt like a vice was tightening around my lower stomach and back and it hurt like a mofo. My whole stomach got tight like he was trying to push out of my belly button. It lasted like 45 seconds and then went away. The only way I could differentiate it was that when I moved around and sat down, it didn't stop.

Well as of right this minute they have slowed down to about every 6 minutes or so I havent beeen keeping track cause I refuse to go back to the hospital till im doubling over in pain or my water breaks. So then they cant send me home
