I always use dish soap, and rub it in, and then get a clean white cloth and place it over it and iron on top of it... works every time.

Club soda - pour on the stain, leave 5 min. Blot with a folded cloth. Repeat until the stain is gone.
White vinegar - same process as club soda
Vinegar and baking soda - pour vinegar on the stain. Sprinkle on the baking soda. It will foam like mad, once it has stopped foaming, leave for 5 -10 min, blot with folded cloth. Pour on plain water to"rinse" the area, again blot with folded cloth until barely damp, allow to dry and vacuum.

Use Lemon Juice: Let stand on stains, then scrub. Boil with water. Let stand on carpet stains then blot dry. Let stand on hard water stains then scrub clean.

You women are goddesses. How lame am I? DH called while I was blotting the stain and talked me through putting together the carpet cleaner part of the vaccuum. Why does our vaccuum have to be soooo damned complicated!? Haha. Thanks ladies. My only thought was peroxide. Then I realized peroxide only gets blood out.
