I'm sure I'm gona get crap for this. My daughter started eating stage 1 foods at 4 months. by 6 months she was on Stage 2. At 8 months we did a little stage 3 but they didn't really have more than a few "meals" so there wasn't much variety. Now she is 9 months (will be 10 months July 23rd) and is eating table food and Gerber Toddler dinners. Mind you she still gets 2-3 7oz bottles of formula a day. And she gets at least 4oz of water (mixed with juice 3 times a week) every day because its so hot here and I don't need her getting dehydrated in the 106+ degree weather.
OP - I understand ur pedi ok'd it, but you shouldn't have started the food at 2 months especially cuz the tummy wasn't ready for that yet. The digestive enzymes hadn't yet developed. Thats why its not recommended till 4 months at the earliest.
Don't worry about the weight issue. That will change. Just like when your LO starts to crawl and move around a lot you will notice very little changes in the weight because its finally being regulated by excercise and movement.

I have another suggestion for u. Try to do the fruit urslef. Buy fresh fruit and put it in the blender. The ascorbic and citric acid in the jarred stuff (to keep it from going bad) can actually hurt her tummy and make her butt sore when she poops.

My mom and her sisters Started me and my cousins on baby cereal early also. My grandma told them to do that because it helps the baby to sleep better in the night...You shouldnt give your baby too much. Maybe just one bottle of cereal and milk every few days.
But i mean i think its okay that you give your baby some things but not the juice just yet..
