uncomfortable breastfeeding question

Ok so this is really bothering me....
I want and plan on breastfeeding my baby when he/she arrives. I think it's a beautiful thing and can't wait to share that with my child..... BUT
to me my boobs are a very sexual area... during sex (if you catch my drift) and Im afraid Im going to feel akward and Im afraid of getting mixed feelings while my baby is latched on... I know that sounds ludacris and I know that it shouldn't and hopefullywon't be possible but thats the only way I can imagine at this point... please tell me I won't have any such ties while feeding...

you wont. It is a totally different mind set when your nursing. My boobs were always my sexual hot spot during sex.. then I had Dominic and when I nursed him it was just like foood---->baby. Your mind doesn't even trip it is just natural and comes to u, you'll see

What breasts are on our bodys for is to feed our children. Do you see a cows utter as sexual, or a dogs teets. It is the way that nature intended. The reason why men are attracted to breasts is because it is encrypted in them to want their women to have good breasts so they are able to feed their future children.

I had the exact same concerns when I was thinking about BFing. I EBF my son to 7 months and at 11 mths I'm starting to feel better about it. It is a huge change. It is still an issue for me. Not that I thought anything sexual when i was nursing my son, but it changed my sex life for sure!
Now that I've said that, it was totally worth it. I would not take it back and things get more mellow everyday. . .

that is what I was thinking too - if anything, sexuality will not come into play with child on breast, however, maybe husband/SO on boob might change a little and you won't see it in the same sexual light as you did before BFing.

Thanks for the biology lesson.
That doesn't change the fact that they're also sexual and cause pleasure for most women.
It isn't the most natural thing for all women.

No you really won't feel like that. I LOVED having my breasts and nipples played with and sucked on during sex.I'm still breastfeedng my 11 month old daughter and I do still enjoy having my breasts played with but in the beginning when I was still nursing my daughter often and usually had tender sore nipples, I was like stay away from my boooobs!

That's how I feel. I want to breastfeed and it hasn't crossed my mind that it would be a problem. It's going back to my husband using them sexually that might be a problem.
