Your welcome mama! I understand exactly how you feel mama! We have all our own families to take care of, so when we do help others, we hope that they truly need it and not just scamming us. Alot of people have stopped donating to others b/c of people being dishonest. But it really irks me that the ones who have scammed people were trusted, well known/popular, long-time BG mothers, so it goes to show you that you really don't know who is behind the computer screen. Alot of people are comfortable donating to members who have been here for awhile, and popular/well-known, they seem to throw their money at those people. But people who aren't that well-known, and not a long-time member people seem to toot their nose up at those mothers. I rather donate to a less popular BG mother and one who hasn't been here all that long. It seems like the BG OG mothers are the scammers, ugh it's just freaking sickening! It really irks me how certain mothers on BG get people to do auctions to collect money for them, oh people just go out their way for certain people on BG. To me, if someone needs help on BG, we should all come together, no matter how much their post count is, or long they have been a member, or how popular they are. If we are going to go all out for certain members of BG, then we need to go all out for everyone. These scams should open people eyes and let them know, that it doesn't matter who the person is, it can always be a potentional scam no matter who the mother is!

i know exactly what your saying, its like the ones who have been heer the longest and are well liked turn out to be the scammers and it really stinks that nobody ever bothers to try to donate to the new mamas cause they think they are scamming them. my aunt recently just siged up on here and she was trying to sell some of her daughters old clothes and everyone was saying she was probably going to scam them. i didnt know a post count made you a scammer. ::sigh::

I didn't either. I don't think I'd ever ask for anything from anybody on here because I don't like to take charity when I'm in need. I know God has my family no matter what, I don't ask for help...I don't ask for help from God...I know he already has everything I need waiting for me and my family. And ya know what, it always turns out okay. Just gotta learn not to worry about things, no matter how bad they seem. But if a high post count means you're a scammer....then I guess I"ma a scammer! lol

Anyways......I just think it's stupid that if you have a high post count people think that. I've never heard anyone say that...but it's dumb. Some of us just have big mouths and that's it.

No mama, we are talking about high post counts as in alot of mothers feel better giving to someone who is well known/popular, high post count, and how long they have been here. It's not just a high post cunt, other factors come into play too. People would consider your post count and my post count to be low, high post counts come into play when it's well over our post counts, lmao! People probably consider us to be new b/c of our low post count, lmao!

OOoooh, I see. Well, I've had a couple people say shit about my post count being high for how long I've been here, and yes...they call me a noob...mostly in arguments. lol, which is really lame. I guess I should be answering the question of this post....
Before giving to anyone on here, even before I KNEW there were scammers, I think I would have just been extra cautious in the first place because it's the internet. I can't say I wouldn't help someone because I like helping people if I can. But I think it would have to be someone I know a little better and talk to a lot. I dunno if my husband would or wouldn't like me to though, I talk everything through with him first before I make plans on stuff like this. Hmmm...well, I guess that's about it...
