lol. My husband's like that...it's good to be that way, just don't get yourself in trouble and say no when you feel you should. The other day we were at walmart and this lady comes up to us, I was putting amelia in her carseat so I didn't hear what she had to say. Then Jon comes back and gets ten bucks outta his wallet and gives it to her. She had no teeth and was acting real strange...I knew straight up she was tweaking...but he gave her the money. I wasn't mad at him though...he was just being nice. She said she needed gas and her friend was gonna run her to the store, then she got in this car with some dude and another in the back and they drove off somewhere. I will never know if she was just trying to get drugs or if she honestly needed gas. I hope she really needed the gas though cause I don't want to contirbute to that kind of shit. But you never know, maybe Jon's kindness will help her later down the road.

I'm a little bit late coming into this... I did help a BG mom a few months ago. And, if I were in a position where I could afford to do such, I would do it again. But, it would probably have to be someone that I interact with regularly (such as the girl I helped last time) so that I would feel more assured that I was not being scammed.

It really stinks that people scam being so pothers arec weary of those who need help. I would love to do somethinfg like the lady making siggys for donations as i am in a situation myself but i am not creative like that. any suggestions on what i could do and i will apprecitae the help thanks but yea btw the perosn they are talking abouts name is Kathy tahts all i know lol

If I can help anyone then I will in a heartbeat. All you have to do is let me know what's going on. I know exactly what it's like to need help and have noone willing to help you. I know alot of the time I end up being used by people, but I try my hardest to not let that effect me negatively. I'm here for all the mothers!

I know this is off topic, but I love your avi picture, you look so cute and innoncent mama! Okay back on topic...I usually stay logged in on BG whether I'm on the computer or not, so since I'm logged in and keep the browser for BG open, my DH looks around on the site. He has read a few threads about different scams people are pulling, and he knows that I have helped a few mothers on BG. He knows that I'm a very giving person, so he doesn't want anyone to take advantage of me, which I fully understand. But like I told him, I'm not going to let the people who scammed others effect my decision to help other mothers to donate whatever I can. My DH is very giving also, but he is leery to donating to people on-line for the simple fact that we really don't know for certain who is being truthful or who is trying to scam. I know this may sound crazy but I'm still willing to give and donate to others on BG for the simple reason, I don't want someone who really needs help to get looked over b/c of the liars on here. I'm just going to be a little bit more cautious about donating, but I'm still going to give, b/c the more we give, the more we are blessed. And I'm not just giving so I can get blessings, I'm giving and donating, b/c that is what is in my heart to do. I've always been a very giving person, even when I was down to my last, I still gave freely. And yes these scams going on around BG sickens me to the core also mama!

First off thank you for the compliment on my avi   Secondly indeed I mean the ones that need help it kinda sucks for them because people will be leery now but I have donated twice in the past to very deserving ladies and have never regretted it. But I knew these ladies too so it helped in my decision. The ones that I have thought to donate and didn't have turned out to be scams...makes me wonder sometimes. I don't want to not donate but sometimes it seems the wiser decision.
