re: breastfeeding while riding in the car + michigan

I cannot beleive how many people on here say they take their infants out of the carseat while the car is going! That is so dangerous   How hard is it to pull over to feed or let your baby stretch?

I just looked it up ... Apparently child restraint laws do not count for nursing mothers

I know .. I have never taken my children out of their car seats while the vehicle is moving.. I dont even turn my vehicle on until they are buckled, and they stay there until the vehicle is shut off.

I wouldn't take my child out of the car seat when the car is in motion regardless. We can pull over. How scary that it is legal in MI.
