Yep, I think it's karma because yesterday my mom watched her all day so I could go to a all day concert in S.A and I did not get home until late, got up at the crack of dawn to go to work, and of course today is a day where there are no naps and bedtime was how it was. It was her way of saying "don't you leave me again mommy!" Haha

So you are SERIOUSLY saying that you would "baby proof" a room and let your UNATTENDED infant play, while you SLEPT? Shit, sounds like YOU are the one who who should be in jail for child neglegt.

Ok, first, lets learn to spell. Secondly, I dont care how much you "baby proof" a room, a baby will still find something. And so what she was walking, that makes it better to leave her unattended, in another room, while you sleep? Uh, no, it doesnt. You dont know your if she was completely safe unless you had your eyes on her. The ONLY time my eyes are off my son, is when he is in his crib alseep, period.

She's 10 months. She went down for a nap after lunch and I guess that's what they're doing in the 1 year old class she'll be in at daycare when I start school so no biggie? : /

My son will be 10 mos on the 15th. Has she always acted out like this, or is in new? She may just be going through a phase. My son takes two naps a day. On after breakfast, around 9:30-10:00 and the other around 3:00. Each time sleeping for 1-2 hours. We just put him in his crib when it is nap time, he may fuss or cry for a few, but in the end, he goes to sleep. How do you go about getting her to go down?

That was our exact schedule except for the past 2 days.
I think she might be teething? I saw some back teeth coming in already *sigh*
I'm just like going through a lot of stuff on top of it so I'm not handling it the best way I guess, I keep playing the in and out of your crib game today. : /

Averi was down to 1 nap by the time she was 12m and then stopped naps starting at 18m then officially at 20m. So it is possible. Its a rough transition.

Is she learning anything new? Like walking? crawling? or anything? Cause that can make them so "excited" that sleep goes on the back burner. I've had many nights cause of that. They just want to practice practice practice.

Teething always makes Averi moody especially back teeth. Molars are the devil.

She might also be sensing a change, since you are going to be going to school and putting her in daycare. I dont recall you saying she was already in one or not but that might make her a little "uneasy".

But most things are just phases. The more independent they get the more they keep you on your toes. I swear as soon as you get comfortable with there sleep as it is now, they sense it and change it just to show ya who's boss.

I wish you the best of luck. I know how fustrating it can be. ((hugs))

Oh goodness: No naps by 20 months?! I'm going to die. Haha No by then maybe.. hopefully... I can give her some art projects to do to keep her in one place.

She's been walking for 2 weeks or so now so I don't think that's it. And she started waking up earlier because I occasionally started trying to wake up at 6 to get ready for work before she woke up annnd even if I made NO noise she would wake up. Now at 6 am she's the one waking me up like she beat me to it. So I thought she'd be sleeping MORE since we were getting up at 8 but who knows. I think she is just transitioning to a mini nap in the morning (like 30 min.) and a longer nap in the afternoon, I was/still am VERY stressed trying to figure out the whole.. school, work, daycare, money, family, etc. etc. LIFE issues so I wasn't handling it well

Thank you mama
