Some people!!! (vent)

My niece was stillborn at 41 weeks back in April. My BIL and SIL planted a memorial garden in their yard with a little angel in the middle. http://www.thepost.on.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1639487 A few nights ago, some heartless person stole it!! I realize that they likely were unaware what the angel was there for, but it has hurt the entire family all over again. My 11 year old nephew is devastated that someone would steal his baby sisters angel. It is like pouring salt into an open wound all over again.

Do some people just NOT think at all?!?!! Sorry, I am just SO angry and hurt thta I had to get that out.

They informed the police and there is an article on the front page of the paper about it. Not too much can be done for the pain it has caused again though, unfortunately

Wow!! I am so sorry! That made me want to cry just thinking of all of that! It also wants to make me go out and buy a new one for the family! I know thats not the point at all....its very far from the point...but still...maybe it could help?

What the hell is wrong with people?? people have no respect at all- stealing is wrong in the first place, but to disrupt a memorial garden?? thats just sick!! If I came face to face with the scum/s I would probably deck them- how could someone be so heartless?

That is so terrible. I hope that whoever did it sees the article and has enough conscience to return it. So sorry for your family's loss and that this happened.

I cant stand stuff like that!!! My daughter was stillborn and when we burried her we put lots of flowers and teddy bears on her grave....well someone from the girls grave next to her kept stealing on of her bears, I was furious! I even wrote her name on the bear and they still stole it! I eventually just took it off so the other girl didnt have my daughters bear!

Apparently Walmart in their town has donated a HUGE angel to them now for the garden and various people have also been stopping by their house to add things to Maya's garden as well. Nice to see that most people have a heart, but sad that the original angel has still not turned up. That particular angel was purchased right after Maya was born and has a lot of meaning to it.

I was so angry last night that I cried most of the night about it. Though finding out about what Walmart and others have done makes me feel a little bit better. Too bad there is still a heartless coward out there that can't even fess up to what they did.

I am so sorry for your loss, it is not easy. Makes it even worse when things like this happen... some people just do not use their brain sometimes.

Hopefully the lowlife who stole it gives the Angel back.
Some people have no conscience at all.
