not allowed to get the epidural!

My sister didn't get an epidural and shes still alive.

why are you not allowed? that doesnt sound right...

i was pushing for two hours no pain meds. its not as bad as i thought it would be...

why can't you have one?

i got all the way to 10 with no pain meds. then had a c section im still here

women do it all the time! just don't worry or stress about it....that will make it worse....it really isn't as bad as you think....and every time you have a contraction, just think that you are that much closer to seeing your baby!

i didn't do it but my one friend said it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be for a natural birth. it hurt like hell but she said getting the stitches afterward since she tore hurt worse than all of the pushing.

They turned off my meds when it was time to push. Pushing made it better, so I lived. lol It was the progressing I needed the meds for, haha

It's not as bad as it sounds. Don't worry!

Its all in yourhead, if you get your mind focused properly you can make it easier on yourself or a lot harder.
Its going to hurt no matter what. Women have given birth for decades.....eons...since the dawn of man without a epidural. Its only the past couple of decades the epidural has been around so relax.
You need to learn how to breathe properly, have a object of focus and bring some music.
Not to mention most of the world delivers without a epidural, its only the US thats drug crazy so suck it up.

ella had such a big head she got stuck...really stuck. and i ended up in a c section lol
