When I was pregnant with my now four year old daughter (who at this time and age is the smartest thing around) I smoked during my first three months, I was so nausead that I was unable to keep anything down I wouldn't eat knowing that i would just throw it back up, I finally got so tired of it that maybe once every few days I would smoke just so that I could eat, I am only being honest about this because i know what it is like to be pregnant and lose 25 pounds in my first month and a half to two months because of the nausea, I was misserable to say the least but don't get me wrong i didn't smoke all day long every day or nothing like that, but now my daughter is one of the smartest little girls that I have ever known and i'm not just saying that because she is my little girl i'm saying that because its the truth.

my sister in law smoke too..not everyday but at times..
nd her daugther is the smartest thing too lol...
some say they make the kids smarter lol..

No, it was stating her findings. Thats what she found while doing the 5 year study in Jamaica. That the babies she looked after where more alert responsive and calmer. Idk there isnt alot of studies done for long periods of time thats why I thought this one was really intresting. Because it gave you 5 years to look at the effect of marijuana use in pregnancy in these Jamaican women.

honestly i havent heard that thing that has happened to a baby because of smoking weed. i know quite a few people that have smoked while they were pregnant and it seems to me that there kids are so smart. they seem to do things so much sooner. but then again it could just be the kid. the only thing you would really wanna be careful to is having them drug test you. because they may also find it in the babies system and theres a possibiliy that they could take it away. my friends mom was a drug cousler and from what she said that when you smoke it doesnt get to the baby because of the ambotic sack. which i would believe in some way. but im not to sure.

but overall i dont think smoking weed while pregnant will cause any major harm.

It gets to the baby because it goes into your blood stream.

Not always. My sil had her son and they were baffled b/c they found drugs in her system, but not in her son's. I don't know why she signed for them to do it anyway knowing that she had just smoked a joint before going to the hospital.

I ONLY THINK THEY DRUG TEST IF THEY SUSPECT SOMETHING ANY WAY. I MEAN IF YOU MEAN YOUR REGULAR DOCTOR VISITS THINGS SHOULD BE OKAY. YOUR SISTER IS LUCKY LOL

Actually, they aren't supposed to test you w/ out your consent. It is against the law.
