i does have vulgar content but no, he's been watching it for a while now and has never tried to talk/act like them or anything.. to me, nothing they say or do is any worse than what he tells me his friends did or said at daycare

We don't sensor cartoons that are on the cartoon channel over here they sit and watch for a few mins then they go play, they sit and watch then they play.

he goes to a pentecostal daycare, they arent necessarily cursing and talking about sex.. he has told me that one of his little friends calls people gay.. things like that.. nothing like sex or cursing... but, like i said, hes never acted out or tried to immitate...

My sons not too into the TV yet but for some reason my SIL wont let her kids watch spongebob. She says they talk bad? Idk. If Kaedyn wanted to watch spongebob, I'd let him but hes still young.

anyway, i don't limit what the girls are and aren't aloud to watch. i just try to limit their overall TV intake.

They do. They use words like loser, idiot, moron, stupid etc. None of which my daughters are allowed to say...at all. And they have a show with a panty raid!

Research shows if you watch certain things on television you can imitate especially young children. WHy would I teach them it isn't ok to cuss at home but then allow them to watch it on tv? No thanks.

Yep it was on one day. I said no thanks. The show has vulgar language to me and Spongbob is always saying mean and rude things to others like "Stupid idiot" and "You are a moron" etc. I dont want my children sounding trashy and repeating that kind of language.

my sil has taught all three of her children how to act like civilized toddlers. they watch rated R movies and PG13 and MA shows on TV & don't run around acting like heathens.
