My daughter is 11 months and she throw little tanrums too! She will scream as loud as she can and turn bright red mostly if it's putting her back in her car seat! The worst is being in a store paying at the register and she wants to grab like the debit card thing and I have to hold her away from it and she screams at the top of her lungs and falls forward for it... It's irritaing! hahah

anyone have any suggestions for these tantrums?? my daughter is horrible almost 15 months and she has them all the time!! mostly toward me hiting, Scratching, pinching me and esp kicking me!! she even had a tantrum in the store the other day cause my SO put a doll back she wanted!! she laid on the floor in target screaming her head off!! she screamed for 10 min until i went back and got the doll!! she does this w/ my dad to! he went to the store and got her some new toys she wouldnt even let them take it to scan it they had to look it up in the book to find the barcode!! if i was there i would have taken the toy away from her atleast to scan it!! well anyways these tantrums are getting worse and worse!! not sure what to do ive tried time out she will scream for an hour!!! im scared wats gonna happen once she hits those terriable 2s!!!!

For my daughter when she hits, I tap her on the hand and firmly say no!. She gets the idea and stops but she still cries. I try and get her attention on something else. I do not give in when she is wanting something, I offer her an alternative. And as for wanting something in the store, you have to nip that in the bud now or she will expect you to give into her everytime and she will not stop throwing the tantrums. If you don't give in now, she won't cry as long later if at all when you tell her no. Hope that helps. I have been there. My grandma spoils my kids and they expect the same when they come home and I don't allow it. But I still have to hear their tantrums occasionally.

Haha same thing here, We were in Wal-mart! My daughter also gets mad when I have to take something from her to scan it! My daughter will be 1 next month. I usually have to give her other things like my phone or keys they seem to keep her attention the longest.
