nursing bras

posted 3rd Jul
how many of them did you mamas get?

Also what styles did you find the most comfortable. ive been reading that underwires are bad, but that is what i prefer. i am uncomfortable in anything without an underwire. but i dont want to have major issues later. ill suffer only if i ABSOLUTELY have to. lol

im hoping to breastfeed for at least 6 months and have no idea what i should be looking for.

thanks

I have two. A comfy one for at night. And one for the day (doesn't have underwire though). I got them from target. They come to good use when you only have one hand =]

I never got a nursing bra, but I only bf for like 5 weeks. I just wore a really supportive sports bra. 775374% cheaper and all you need to do is just figure out your size. I was a 36b pre preg and while I was bfing I was a 38DD. So yea they get HUUGGEEE

I always start out with 3. One soft comfy one for sleeping in (really just to keep the nursing pads in place so I don't leak milk all over the bed) and two nice underwire ones so I can alternate which one I'm wearing so I can wash the other. I have big tatas so I would never wear a bra without underwire. I've never had a problem. I usually get a black one and a white one. After a few months I go and get a couple more when I'm not totally engorged any more.

I usually get mine at Motherhood or Thyme Maternity but I'm in Canada so I'm not sure what to suggest. There are probably ladies on here with a better idea of whats out there than I do. I usually end up having to pay about 40$ each for my bras

I am planning on getting 3 nursing bra's and 3 nursing tank tops. Hopefully the baby BF's, cause my other 2 kids didn't.
