You have the dot not connected to the others because you checked the symptom box for fever. That means the temp can't be relied upon and it is ignored. Also, the open circles (hollow) are when the temp was taken more than 15 minutes earlier or later than the previous temps. Hope that helps explain it better!

I ended up making my own temp chart modified from the one on babyhopes.com. Since I keep my temps and other data on my FF account, I just keep the paper chart for my own reference. I keep it with my Baby Comp (cycle computer) and circle my temps with the same color as the light shown on it for each day. Probably overkill on my part, but that way I have records in more than one place. LOL

Everyone is different. Some women are more fertile than others. Consider yourself lucky you didn't have to chart or 'try' or suffer one BFN after another.

I use MyMonthlyCycles. You can use it for an estimated ovulation date, I like it because it keeps track of my periods. I've been using it since January and can see exactly how regular my periods are and everything.

Thank you! haha! That actually was the answer I was looking for! Is that in the tutorial? I swear I tried to pay attention to the whole thing

I think so. I can't remember for sure since it was so long ago that I had first signed up at FF, although not until recently did I start recording my temps and such in there again. I know the hollow circle thing is in there and something about the disconnected dots also. I'm not sure in what way it is described, but I recall searching for it when I saw someone else's chart with the same things on it. I know the time thing because I had had that happen on some previous charts. Since I have my alarm set at 10 a.m. everyday I just take my temperature then and have it set as my default time on FF. I don't bother to change it on the rare instance that I need to get up and go somewhere early unless it is totally out of my typical pattern, or is at a more crucial part of my cycle.

Yea my son usually wakes up at 9am everyday, but of course since I've been charting, he wakes up at various times, so I'm just going to have to start setting an alarm for before I know he gets up   boo!
